Jay.Chou.World.Tour.2008
19th Jan 2008

Last saturday, me, sis and liling went for my fellow mr zhou jie lun's mega talk of the town concert! (:

Although this year there seemed to be more performances like him dancing and trying to promote his "nan qian ma ma" group.. but i still felt the previous years were much better.. Maybe the seating does play a part.. He seemed soooo small to me, and we brought a bino but it did feel like watching tv. :( in any case to those lucky bastards who got free tics.. and sat in front too.. roooaar!

Well well, sis and i are still debating over how many concerts jay has had in sing.. is it 3 or 4?
Cos we were comparing the seats where we've been sitting at so that we can get better seats the next round with a better view of him of course.. (:

After the concert, we went to the back hoping to get to see him coming out from the backstage doors but I guess he was the first one to leave right after the concert.. ): cos all the other people like the dancers and nan qian mama started coming out after that..

And my sister found this guy's blog where he made a video of jay's concert taking from the front view! omg. there is a difference to the feel and all.. quite funny ah.. the video is attached right above! http://www.thegreatsze.blogspot.com/

:: Pauline's 22nd
22nd Jan 2008

We ate steamboat at bugis area which was about $15/person.. Not too bad quite nice.. at least better than travelling all the way to marina bay area which is so bloody inaccessible unless u got a car [all the time though - :) ] but no... after that we hopped over to some dessert place to saisfy my craving for almond paste dessert! :) My encounters with the instant powdered ones from Aus's asian groceries suck to the max. -_-

and some random moments with the brother who has just started school and is mugging so much in the library ah.. and we've decided to act retard for once before my first mahjong session at wil's place..

:: Chesty Nutty Bang Bang @ National Library

Went to watch with Alvin, Matt and Serene. Its a local singapore production and its kinda like a spoff of 881, Hairspray, High School Musical and other random moments from Star Wars etc.. It would be funny if you've caught those movies then you'll get the joke.

The best part of it all was that they were singing the Umbrella sing in HOKKIEN.. Ho Sua Ho Sua Ho Sua eh eh eh... haha.. classic man. :D

In any case, this play has been ongoing for nearly 3 years? So its like an annual thing.. like another dim sum dollies. In fact the interior of the auditorium at national library is almost like the one at esplanade but a more cosy version..
If you interested in watching the play its still on.. can get more info at http://www.gatecrash.com.sg/

been getting the emos lately - like everything is so wrong, and suddenly you realise some light outta it. and everything seems so right again.

and insomia has been my best friend. i find it so freaking hard to sleep. i was tossing in bed for almost 2 hours (i blamed it on the teh terik that time.) but for others, its been the same. and waking up seems hell. gosh. maybe i should start reading my notes to bed. it might do some help.

in any case, i wanna stick (i'm trying) to what i believe in - for the good in the long run.

and i know along the way, i've gotta hurt some - but i also guess in the long run, its good for everyone.
